The MapInfo Municipal Program (MMP) will allow local governments - towns, cities and counties in Canada to obtain a software subscription to selected MapInfo software products for an annual license fee. Upgrade and update protection is included in the annual license fee. MapInfo has designated DigiMap to be the sole vendor of the MapInfo Municipal Program (MMP) in Ontario.

 Major features include:

• The determination of the annual license fee is based upon the most recent population counts available (2001 Census)

• The following software products are available under the MMP:

• MapInfo Professional

• Vertical Mapper

• Exponare Modules (Enquiry-internal / Public-external)

• MapXMobile

• MapBasic
